Jacques is the President of Guernsey Sonic and is responsible for restaurant operations. He has over 20 years of experience in driving operational growth, leading full-scale start-up and turnaround efforts, spearheading major change initiatives and strengthening leading restaurant brands including Sonic, Pizza Hut, WingStreet, Yum Brands! and Inspire Brands. Prior to joining Guernsey Holdings Jacques spent several years as the Vice President of Franchise Operations for Sonic in which he was directly responsible for managing over 700 Sonic restaurants.
Candice, residing in Florence, South Carolina, has been in the Zaxby’s brand for over 20 years and oversees the daily operations and implementation of all administrative policies and procedures. She collaborates with other departments to streamline processes, optimize resources, and drive organizational success. With over two decades of experience with Zaxby’s, Candice provides a wealth of knowledge about the brand.
Before joining Zaxby’s, Candice gained an entrepreneurial mindset from her family who owned and operated a small business in her hometown of Loris, SC. Experiencing different facets of the business at a young age helped pave the way for her solid foundation of family-oriented, customer focused acumen that she utilizes today. Candice received her bachelor’s degree from Francis Marion University, where she concentrated on Business Management.
With her extensive years of service and unwavering dedication, Candice plays a vital role in the success of Guernsey Holdings Zaxby’s. She provides counsel to Mike James and the Board of Directors to support the company’s overall goals and objectives.
Chad, residing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has been in the Zaxby’s brand for over 20 years and is able to provide a critical blend of leadership, strategic planning, and process optimization, all aimed at improving the overall performance and profitability at Zaxby’s.
Throughout his college career, Chad worked in the restaurant industry, gaining an in-depth, hands-on perspective of the restaurant business. After graduating from college, Chad spent some time in the sales industry. He received his bachelor’s degree from Francis Marion University.
He plays a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing the operational strategies and processes within Zaxby’s. His expertise and dedication have allowed him to have significant influence over the operational health and expandability of the business. Chad’s leadership is critical in growing the values of high performance and operational excellence within the brand.
